I’m pretty happy with my total for January. My online income comes from a combination of blogs (adsense), affiliate, and ebook promotion. I have an ebook that I wrote and I have sold ebooks through Clickbank written by other people.
I’m going to work more on building traffic to my niche blogs to boost my affiliate and adsense income. The ebooks are the main breadwinner right now and it would be nice to be less dependent on them. The ebooks also take some work (granted, very little) because I have to answer an occasional question from readers. I just need more automatic streams. Blogging takes daily work but it’s usually fun and each blog can be left unattended for at least a couple of days when I need a break.
I really recommend starting your own online streams of income. It’s good to research and see what works for other people but at some point you need to start doing it. Don’t get stuck in a prolonged research phase like many people do, falling prey to endless “how to make money online” pitches.
You’re never going to make a dime until you start. Set up a blog, build a Site Build It web site (I recommend SBI highly because it’s super easy to use and it works), make a free Squidoo page with affiliate links…just get started.
