I’m pretty happy with my total for January. My online income comes from a combination of blogs (adsense), affiliate, and ebook promotion. I have an ebook that I wrote and I have sold ebooks through Clickbank written by other people.

I’m going to work more on building traffic to my niche blogs to boost my affiliate and adsense income. The ebooks are the main breadwinner right now and it would be nice to be less dependent on them. The ebooks also take some work (granted, very little) because I have to answer an occasional question from readers. I just need more automatic streams. Blogging takes daily work but it’s usually fun and each blog can be left unattended for at least a couple of days when I need a break.

I really recommend starting your own online streams of income. It’s good to research and see what works for other people but at some point you need to start doing it. Don’t get stuck in a prolonged research phase like many people do, falling prey to endless “how to make money online” pitches.

You’re never going to make a dime until you start. Set up a blog, build a Site Build It web site (I recommend SBI highly because it’s super easy to use and it works), make a free Squidoo page with affiliate links…just get started.

My online income update 2

I posted earlier that my affiliate income and Whypark income had been picking up lately.

I went into detail earlier about the Whypark income (be sure to read my Whypark review) and now I want to discuss my affiliate income.

I learned most of what I know about making money with affiliate programs from Rosalind Gardner’s Super Affiliate Handbook. I have a review of the Super Affiliate Handbook if you’re interested.

I’ve had success lately with high-paying affiliate programs, the kind that pay $30 and up for one sale. One of the programs pays $100 for just one sale, so you can see how affiliate income can add up.

I also have a successful affiliate program on one of my popular niche websites that relies on “penny profits” to make money; it takes hundreds of sales to add up to any real money. The good thing is the work is done now, and this program will be just one of my streams of affiliate income for a long time.

I’ll post my numbers for January at the end of the month.

Update on my online income

I have been having great success with affiliate programs lately along with Whypark, which makes a steady daily income as well.

Whypark is just extra money in my case, not “paying the mortgage” money unless you have way more domain names than I do. I’m just about average as far as my domain holdings, and the Whypark has made a huge difference to me as far as getting them to pay for themselves while I work on other projects.

I had no such luck with Sedo, so if you’re thinking about Whypark or Sedo you may want to read my Whypark Review.

Super Affiliate Handbook review

No B.S. Review of the

Super Affiliate Handbook

I have read many books and ebooks on marketing, internet marketing, affiliate programs, making money online, copywriting for the web, making money with web sites, etc. and one of the titles on my short list of essential reading is Rosalind Gardner’s ebook the Super Affiliate Handbook. (Yes, there are affiliate links in this review, but this is an honest review.)

Simply put, the Super Affiliate Handbook is the book

I would tell my Grandmother to buy

if she wanted to be an affiliate marketer.

Rosalind Gardner is a smart woman who used to be an air traffic controller. She got into affiliate marketing because being an air traffic controller was just too crazy and stressful. I can imagine!

She started putting together affiliate marketing websites and pretty soon made $436,797 in one year. She explains it all in the Super Affiliate Handbook.

And when I say she explains it all, I mean she really goes over it step-by-step. Anyone can become an affiliate marketer with Rosalind Gardner’s Super Affiliate Handbook as a guide.

She’ll walk you through figuring out which products to sell, so you don’t waste your time on stuff that isn’t extremely profitable. Rosalind also explains how to get traffic to your site: this is SO important, and she’s got 9 ways to get FREE traffic.

She tells you about choosing domain names wisely, setting up blogs easiey (a blog is a fantastic platform for affiliate marketers), avoiding common mistakes affiliate marketers make, and so much more.

The Super Affiliate Handbook is now up to 233 pages since Rosalind keeps it updated with all the new developments and strategies you need to know for successful affiliate marketing.

What I like about Rosalind’s ebook is her intelligence and her style. She’s straightforward, she’s honest, and she’s not using this low priced product to try to lure you into pricey seminars/more expensive courses, etc.

The Super Affiliate Handbook was $47 years ago when I first read it and it’s still just $47. It’s worth much more, trust me. Many of the internet gurus out there are selling less info for MORE money. Rosalind is definitely a guru, one of the true elite in affiliate marketing.

The Super Affiliate Handbook is a master class in affiliate marketing, period. If you want to be a successful affiliate marketer, this ebook is your absolute best resource.
